Job Overview
- The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for interior fit out projects, ensuring timely project delivery in line with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 in coordination with project, commercial, procurement, and design teams.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays and critical path activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S Curves, and project performance updates for management and clients.
- Analyze project delays and prepare recovery programs to mitigate schedule risks and maintain project milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, joinery factory, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct resource planning and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization to support efficient project execution.
- Support project teams in preparing extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis where applicable.
- Participate in client and consultant meetings, providing schedule updates and project forecasts.
- Ensure planning procedures comply with company standards and contractual requirements.
- Continuously review project performance and recommend improvements to enhance planning efficiency and project delivery.
