About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for small to medium sized projects
- Analyze project financial data and identify potential impacts on project outcomes
- Assist in establishing project baseline data using drawings and specifications
- Conduct cost and schedule variance analyses to ensure project efficiency
- Collect and analyze progress data, reviewing performance trends to support decision making
- Apply earned value, scope control, and change management methodologies
- Analyze manpower, labor hours, and labor costs against budget limitations
- Track purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures
- Support the project reporting process and participate in project cost review meetings
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines
- Assist in trend analysis and forecasting to optimize project performance
- Contribute to the development and improvement of planning processes and tools
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Planning / Project Controls field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Primavera P6 Project Management Software
- Ability to develop, monitor and control schedules
- Hands on working knowledge of WBS coding structure, cost/schedule variance analysis, Earned Value Management, project trend, contract change and claims
- Working knowledge of Time Impact Analysis techniques

Qualifications
- A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in the Planning / Project Controls field is required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Primavera P6 Project Management Software.
- Ability to develop, monitor and control schedules.
- Hands on working knowledge of WBS coding structure, cost /schedule variance analysis, Earned Value Management (EVMS), project trend, contract change and claims.
