Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to support timely project completion.
Coordinate with project teams, track progress, identify delays, prepare recovery plans, and provide planning and reporting information to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline programs, work breakdown structures, and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor project progress, update schedules, and analyze schedule variances, delays, and risks.
- Prepare recovery and mitigation plans to maintain project timelines.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate progress with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Conduct critical path analysis, recommend corrective actions, and monitor resource utilization and productivity.
- Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with extension of time claims and delay analysis.
- Participate in project meetings, present planning updates, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5–15 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction, infrastructure, or buildings.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of project controls, scheduling techniques, and earned value management.
- Knowledge of delay analysis and claims management.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Primavera P6 certification is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work may involve both office-based and site-based activities.
- Occasional travel to project locations may be required.
