About the Role
One&Only The Palm Resort is seeking a Pizza Sous Chef to oversee the pizza-making process and assist the Chef de Cuisine in running the kitchen department. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience as a pizza sous chef in a 5-star hotel/resort, strong leadership skills, and excellent English communication.

- Ensure all allocated areas are checked and ready as per departmental lists
- Ensure kitchen staff commence duty on time and wear correct uniform
- Practice daily on the job training and assist in monthly training sessions
- Ensure safe working conditions and report maintenance requirements
- Check deliveries for quality, quantity, and price
- Ensure fast and efficient service to guests
- Bring creative ideas for new dishes and presentations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 3 years of experience as a Pizza Sous Chef in an upscale 5 star hotel/resort environment
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and dynamic team player
- Excellent communication in English
- Additional language is highly regarded

Job Overview
