About the Role
Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital is seeking a Senior Physical Therapy Technician/Technologist to provide physical rehabilitation services. The role involves evaluating patients, administering treatments, and developing recovery plans.

Responsibilities
- Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments
- Review physician referrals and patient medical records to determine treatment
- Test and measure patient strength, motor development, sensory perception, and functional capacity
- Develop and revise treatment programs based on patient evaluation
- Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function
- Apply physical agents such as hydrotherapy, moist packs, and ultrasound
- Evaluate treatment effects and adjust treatments for maximum benefit
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient chart
- Instruct patients and families in home treatment procedures
- Confer with physicians and other practitioners to integrate treatment
- Orient, instruct, and direct work activities of assistants and aides
Requirements
- Experience in physical therapy
- Relevant physical therapy certification
- Knowledge of evidence based treatment protocols
- Ability to instruct patients and families in home treatment procedures

Job Purpose
- Provide medical services to help individuals recover or improve function after injury or illness.
- Evaluate patient condition and devise customized physical rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Goal: develop, maintain, and restore maximum movement and functional ability to maximize quality of life.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments
- Review physician referral and patient condition to determine treatment
- Test and measure patient strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency
- Plan and prepare written treatment program based on evaluation
- Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function
- Keep abreast with latest trends and advances in physical therapy
- Administer treatments using hydrotherapy tanks, whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet/infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines
- Evaluate effects of treatment and adjust for maximum benefit
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient chart
- Instruct patient and family in home treatment procedures
- Confer with physician and other practitioners to integrate treatment
- Orient, instruct, and direct work activities of assistants and aides
Qualifications
- Experience in physical therapy
- Relevant certification
- Knowledge of evidence based treatment protocols
- Ability to instruct patients and families
Additional Responsibilities
- Proper handovers in case of absenteeism
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with cybersecurity policies
- Adhere to code of conduct and ethical standards
- Complete mandatory education as required
