Job Overview
- Performs clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
- Assesses patients thoroughly and documents assessments.
- Develops plan of care using evidence based approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Becomes most responsible physician for inpatients.
- Develops discharge plan on day of admission.
- Assesses inpatients at least once daily and documents progress notes.
- Responds to medical consultations in timely manner.
- Documents medical interventions timely.
- Completes discharge summaries and ensures patient education.
- Attends to facility duties and responds to calls.
- Attends departmental meetings and contributes ideas.
- Writes medical reports in timely manner.
- Contributes to teaching rounds and activities.
- Educates patients and families about health conditions.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and specialization in Infectious Diseases.
- Clinical privileges as assigned.
