Requirements
- Full time, permanent work rights in NZ
- Full, clean driver's licence
- Clean criminal record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit with strong focus on health and safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Self motivated with great time management
- High attention to detail
- Confident using mobile apps and technology
- Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed

Overview
- Love the outdoors? Dedicated, reliable, and ready to stay one step ahead? You will be out in the field and the first line of defence in the fight against pests, solving customer problems with expert advice and proactive service.
Schedule and Location
- Monday to Friday, covering all of the Palmerston North and surrounding areas, as well as in Napier and New Plymouth when needed, which may require occasional overnight stays or early/late shifts.
- We provide a work vehicle to support your daily travel.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify pest activity and determine treatment plans
- Apply pest control solutions and advise customers on prevention/management
- Identify hygiene/environmental risks to create safer, healthier spaces

A Successful Candidate Will Have
- Full time, permanent work rights in NZ
- Full, clean driver's licence and a clean criminal record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety
- Comfortable and able to work outdoors in various environmental conditions
- Self motivated with great time management
- High attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Confident using mobile apps and technology
- Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed
- Pest control regulations and methods experience is a bonus
Desirable But Not Essential
- New Zealand Certificate in Pest Operations Urban Pest Control
- Current NZ Firearm Licence
- Experience and licences for Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platforms
- Ability to operate a manual vehicle
