Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including preparing new hire materials and coordinating logistics
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and HRIS data entry
- Help prepare monthly HR reports and support ad hoc reporting requests
- Support the People & Culture team with letter writing, contract drafting, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with generating and organizing people data reports
- Support the coordination and scheduling of performance review meetings and probation review follow ups
- Serve as a friendly first point of contact for routine employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Support the communication and distribution of HR policy updates
- Assist with benefits administration tasks
- Support payroll coordination tasks
- Help coordinate employee recognition programs
- Coordinate training logistics and maintain training records

Role Overview
- The People & Culture Intern will gain hands on exposure to the People & Culture function, supporting the team across onboarding, HR administration, employee relations, and learning & development.
- This is a learning focused role designed to build a strong foundation in HR operations while contributing to the day to day running of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including preparing new hire materials, coordinating logistics, and helping ensure new joiners have the resources they need.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and HRIS data entry.
- Help prepare monthly HR reports and support ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
- Support the People & Culture team with letter writing, contract drafting, and other administrative tasks, helping keep templates current.
- Assist with generating and organizing people data reports, helping surface insights on key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and headcount.
- Support the coordination and scheduling of performance review meetings and probation review follow ups.
- Help maintain records of performance evaluations and feedback.
- Serve as a friendly first point of contact for routine employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating more complex matters as needed.
- Support the communication and distribution of HR policy updates, and help track compliance with mandatory training and certifications.
- Assist with benefits administration tasks, including responding to employee questions and supporting enrolments and changes.
- Support payroll coordination tasks, such as collating documentation and assisting with the creation of POs and vendor records.
- Help coordinate employee recognition programs and the distribution of awards and incentives.
