Role Overview
Global Mission Support Services is seeking a Paramedic for deployment in Naoero.
The role provides pre-hospital and urgent care in a challenging, resource-limited island environment.
The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Naoero.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate care, stabilization, and transport.
- Deliver pre-hospital life support and trauma care according to protocols.
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment.
- Assist with triage and emergency department support when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and incident documentation.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and local emergency services.
- Participate in community education, drills, and capacity building.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Paramedicine or Emergency Medical Care is required.
- Valid registration or certification as a paramedic in the home country is required.
- At least 5 years of frontline paramedic experience is required.
- Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and trauma certification are required.
- Excellent decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills are required.
