- Answer incoming calls and greet customers promptly and professionally
- Take accurate and detailed food and beverage orders from customers
- Input orders into the restaurant's order management system
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food items
- Upsell additional menu items when appropriate
- Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints with patience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Stay updated on menu changes, daily specials, and ongoing promotions
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or food service
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in using order management systems and POS software
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, including local cuisine
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong listening skills and ability to accurately record orders
- Patience and problem solving skills to handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Team oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods
