Overview
Vistas Global seeks an Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize Oracle database systems, including Oracle e-Business Suite and Oracle Golden Gate. The role involves performance tuning, capacity planning, and ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Duties and responsibilities
- Install and Upgrade Oracle database and Corresponding Application Tools.
- Monitor system's health and performance.
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
- Provide suggestions for solutions.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after working hours.
Requirement and experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Technical Related Field.
- 6 years of experience as Oracle DBA or similar role.
- Experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN,EXADATA,OGG and Engineered systems.
- Experience in Linux/Unix Operating system.
- Attention to details and analytical thinking.
