- Define Pest Management and Biosecurity business innovation objectives and gather ideas to grow the business
- Set budget, review contract lists, forecast resources, and determine areas needing cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Monitor yearly schedule of appointments, establish plans, and oversee execution to reach KPIs
- Lead Operations Units members and empower them to run field operations
- Supply clients with relevant Pest Management information and collaborate with Client Service department
- Network with legal authorities on Pest Management and Biosecurity legal requirements
- Research and suggest Pest Management Systems or training topics for local implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Environmental Science or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience, preferably 2 years in pest management at Rentokil Boecker
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Knowledgeable in reporting and monitoring with remarkable attention to details
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Overview
- The Operations Manager develops and leads Rentokil Boecker operations activities at all levels: people management, team performance, client relationship management, resources optimization, and operational efficiency.

- Adopt Rentokil Boecker vision, inspire and lead own departmental vision to achieve desired outcomes.
- Plan, develop and execute operations strategies that support company objectives.
- Set short term and long term direction for the department with objectives and KPIs.
- Organize, delegate and follow up assertively on departmental tasks.
- Hire, develop and motivate team members by molding, training and coaching them.
- Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with management, peers and staff.
- Continuously improve department’s processes and quality output.
- Control data integrity on all Rentokil Boecker systems, forms and reports.
Business Development
- Define Pest Management and Biosecurity business innovation objectives.
- Gather ideas to grow the Pest Management business using various resources.
- Cooperate with Sales Manager to develop new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales department to ensure geographical expansion and coverage.
- Promote Rentokil Boecker Pest Management and Biosecurity systems and programs.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing department and provide insights.
- Identify and participate in events and exhibitions relevant to services.
Operations and Team Management
- Ensure delivered services are aligned with Boecker Pest Management and Biosecurity standards.
- Set budget, review contract lists, forecast resources, and determine cost reduction areas.
- Monitor yearly schedule of appointments and oversee execution to reach KPIs.
- Control consumption of products and utilization of human and technical resources.
- Assess new projects with Finance team to avoid misuse of resources.
- Lead Operations Units members and empower them to run field operations.
- Be highly involved with Field Quality Assurance unit.
- Guide Technical Engineering Unit and take feedback into consideration.
- Oversee technicians’ recruitment, training, evaluation, and distribution.
- Manage departmental training calendar and monthly competitions.
- Analyze Operations reports and take appropriate action.
Client Satisfaction
- Supply clients with relevant Pest Management information via different media.
- Collaborate with Client Service department to enhance service excellence.
- Examine cancelled and non renewed accounts and take corrective actions.
- Perform troubleshooting and courtesy visits and build strong relationships with clients.
Regulatory Relationship
- Network and communicate with legal authorities on Pest Management and Biosecurity legal requirements.
- Develop continuous flow of communication with local governments to authorize services and products.
Research and Development
- Research, suggest and design Pest Management Systems or training topics for local implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Environmental Science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience, preferably 2 years in pest management at Rentokil Boecker.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Knowledgeable in reporting and monitoring with remarkable attention to details.
