Operations Manager - Piling

About the Company

Position and Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day piling and foundation project operations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and site resources.
• Monitor progress, productivity, schedules, costs, and resource utilization.
• Supervise bored piles, driven piles, CFA piles, shoring, and associated foundation works.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, specifications, HSE requirements, quality standards, and project procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage piling rigs, cranes, and other construction equipment.
• Resolve technical, operational, resource, and project issues.
• Monitor budgets, productivity, operational costs, profitability, and efficiency.
• Prepare progress, operational, productivity, and management reports.
• Lead project and site teams toward project objectives.

Educational Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
• Additional qualifications or training in piling, foundation engineering, construction management, or project management are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction industry experience, specifically in piling and foundation projects.
• Hands-on experience with bored piling, driven piling, CFA piling, shoring, foundation works, piling rigs, and associated heavy equipment.
• Experience managing multiple project or site operations and large construction teams.
• Strong understanding of project execution, resource planning, productivity, cost control, and commercial matters.

• Strong technical understanding of piling and foundation construction.

Language and Other Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Willingness and availability to travel between project sites is required.
• Flexibility to work according to project and site requirements.

Key Performance Areas

• Deliver projects within approved time, cost, quality, and HSE parameters.
• Optimize piling equipment utilization, productivity, manpower, resources, and operational costs.
• Achieve project schedules and milestones and maintain quality and compliance of piling and foundation works.
• Coordinate effectively with stakeholders and resolve operational and technical issues promptly.
