Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Operations Manager** to oversee the daily operations of our cake shop, chocolate shop, and catering division.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality production, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving efficiency and profitability across all business units.

1. Operational Management

  • Supervise daily operations across all outlets (cake shop, chocolate shop, catering).
  • Develop and implement SOPs to ensure consistency, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory, supply chain, and procurement of raw materials.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and production teams to meet daily demand and custom orders.

2. Staff Supervision & Training

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff including chefs, service staff, and delivery personnel.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development programs.
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs efficiently.

3. Customer Experience

  • Maintain high standards of customer service across all touchpoints.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure resolution.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction.

4. Sales & Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with marketing for seasonal promotions, product launches, and catering campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements based on data and customer feedback.

5. Financial & Reporting

  • Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain records of sales, expenses, wastage, and inventory.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to management regularly.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct routine audits and resolve non-compliance issues proactively.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in food service, bakery, or catering operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory management tools, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices (HACCP certification is a plus).
