Operations Manager

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across multiple active projects and work sites.
• Coordinate project managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Control schedules, budgets, costs, resources, productivity, quality, and deadlines.
• Review construction and MEP drawings, BOQs, work plans, method statements, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company safety and quality procedures.
• Resolve operational issues and implement measurable workflow and performance improvements.
• Maintain relationships with clients, commercial contacts, engineering consultants, and consultancy offices.
• Identify opportunities, participate in tenders and commercial negotiations, and bring suitable new projects.
• Provide operational and commercial reports to senior management.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 8 years of operations or project management experience in the construction sector.
• At least 5 years of relevant general contracting experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and sites simultaneously.
• A demonstrable UAE network and successful track record generating project opportunities.
• Strong ability to read construction and MEP drawings and BOQs.
• Practical experience in budgeting, cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, HSE, and quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to join within 30 days and accept the advertised salary range.

Employment and Compensation

• Job type is full-time and permanent.
• Salary is AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
• The successful candidate will be subject to a three-month probation period.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
