- The role is based in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Build and refine operational and enterprise risk frameworks and practical tools.
- Run risk and control reviews across corporate functions.
- Monitor key risk indicators and flag emerging exposures.
- Lead continuity and resilience planning across people, technology, third parties, and physical sites.
- Stress-test disruption response and support crisis and emergency readiness.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial reporting controls with Finance and Internal Audit.
- Assess whether insurance coverage matches actual risk exposure.
- Benchmark risk and resilience maturity across portfolio companies.
- Drive group standards and close identified gaps.
- Present risk insight to senior leadership, the Audit & Risk Committee, and the Board.
- Coordinate risk matters across Finance, Investments, HR, Technology, and Facilities.
Requirements
- At least eight years of operational or enterprise risk experience.
- Experience ideally spanning RCSA, business continuity, resilience, crisis management, internal controls or ICFR, or insurance.
- Background in a large diversified corporate, sovereign investor, financial institution, asset manager, government-linked entity, or top-tier professional services firm is preferred.
- Comfort working across multiple business units or portfolio companies.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
- Comfort presenting to senior management and governance committees.
