The role will create the Group FP&A and performance capability from the ground up.
The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Own group-wide budgeting, multi-year planning, and rolling forecasts across businesses and asset classes.
- Establish KPIs, performance measures, reporting, and accountability through a single performance framework.
- Consolidate group and entity-level performance and align planning standards across portfolio finance teams.
- Advise the Group CFO, CEO, and wider leadership as an independent strategic sounding board.
- Prepare executive and Board reporting that explains financial results and their underlying narrative.
- Model scenarios and returns for capital deployment, portfolio decisions, and major investment cases.
- Design FP&A processes, governance, systems, and team structure from the ground up.
Requirements
- Bring at least 18 years of finance experience with leadership experience in FP&A, strategic finance, planning, or performance management.
- Have experience at group or holding-company level in a sovereign fund, holding group, infrastructure platform, pension fund, large asset manager, or similarly complex environment.
- Be comfortable working across multiple businesses, entities, geographies, or asset classes.
- Have previously built or rebuilt a planning function.
- Demonstrate strong modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills with a commercial capital allocation perspective.
- Be credible with CEOs, CFOs, and Boards and able to challenge senior stakeholders.
- A finance or accounting qualification or relevant postgraduate degree is welcome but not essential.

- The role is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
