A leading international law firm is hiring a junior Financial Services Regulatory Associate for its Dubai practice.
The role focuses on payments, fintech, crypto and digital assets across the UAE and wider Middle East.
The team advises financial institutions, fintech businesses, payment service providers, digital asset companies and technology-driven platforms.
Role responsibilities
- Advise on payments and payment services, including payment processing, wallets and cross-border payment structures.
- Handle fintech regulation, platform structuring, market entry and regulatory strategy.
- Handle crypto and digital asset matters involving tokenisation, exchanges, custodians and stablecoins.
- Advise on banking, securities, funds and investment services regulation.
- Handle licensing and authorisation before UAE financial services regulators.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, enforcement and investigations.
- Handle cross-border regulatory matters involving international regulatory frameworks.
- Support the development of the fintech, payments and digital assets offering across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Candidate requirements
- Candidates should be NQ, with qualification expected in September 2026.
- Candidates should have financial regulatory experience from a leading Legal 500 law firm or a strong financial services or fintech environment.
- Exposure to payments, fintech, crypto or digital assets is particularly relevant.
