Role Overview
Occupational Therapist role focused on supporting children through assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and caregiver communication.
Work location is Dubai.
Qualifications
- DHA license or DHA eligibility letter is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy is required.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct physical assessments for children and determine their therapy needs.
- Advise on adaptive equipment that supports children’s daily activities.
- Develop physical rehabilitation programs to help children regain lost skills.
- Develop treatment plans and assess children’s work and home environments.
- Evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programs when appropriate.
Administration and Communication
- Maintain sufficient inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment according to established procedures.
- Complete records, reports, and statistics in line with occupational therapy policies and professional guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about patient care.
Professional Standards
- Maintain current clinical and professional knowledge according to organizational requirements.
- Complete minimum CPD or CME hours required for professional relicensing.
- Comply with applicable safety, health, and quality control programs and procedures.
