About Raffles The Palm

Raffles The Palm Dubai is a luxury beach resort on Palm Jumeirah with 340 rooms, suites, and villas.

The resort offers a private beach, entertainment and recreational facilities, restaurants, boutiques, and conference spaces.

Role Overview

The Night Front Office Agent manages front desk activities including reception, check-in, check-out, cashiering, foreign exchange, and guest inquiries.

The role reports to the Front Office Supervisor and focuses on warm, personalized arrival and departure experiences.

Front Desk Operations

  • Register and room arrivals and perform check-in, check-out, and room-change procedures.
  • Enter guest data accurately into the hotel system and maintain comprehensive knowledge of reservation procedures.
  • Attend to safety box requests and maintain a clean and orderly front desk work area.

Cashiering and Night Audit

  • Maintain the cashier float, prepare daily money reports, cash checks, and assist with currency exchange.
  • Perform audit balancing and prepare audit reports.
  • During night shifts, check the night report, prepare the morning report, and complete forms for guest arrivals.

Guest Service

  • Respond to guest complaints, inquiries, and requests and refer unresolved issues to a supervisor or assistant manager.
  • Support onward bookings at other Raffles properties and ensure departing guests leave with a positive impression.
  • Maintain professional behavior, appearance, attitude, and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or relevant qualifications in hotel management.
  • At least two years of guest relations experience, preferably in a four- or five-star hotel.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and exercise good judgment with difficult guests.
