Job Description
The Butler owns the individual guest journey from reservation through departure and serves as the continuous point of contact for each guest.
The role operates as Butler in Residence for dedicated suite and VIP service or Butler on Call for responsive support when guests need assistance.
The position reports to the Butler Supervisor or Assistant Head Butler.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of Butler Service SOPs, Raffles brand standards, LQA criteria, Forbes standards, hotel platforms, rooms, suites, facilities, and local culture.
- Anticipate guest needs, personalize arrivals, conduct room orientations, manage requests, handle complaints, and coordinate departments through completion.
- Inspect rooms, execute rituals and special-occasion setups, provide packing and unpacking, monitor DND and OOO rooms, and maintain detailed butler notes.
- Recommend relevant experiences, dining, and services while collaborating with Housekeeping, Private Dining, Front Office, Engineering, Concierge, and other teams.
