Role overview
Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients.
Manage standard and low-complexity networking incidents while meeting service level requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Configure, install, test, and maintain infrastructure at client sites.
- Install and configure software according to client requirements.
- Identify, log, diagnose, and resolve incidents and problems.
- Coordinate with clients, carriers, colleagues, and third-party vendors.
- Escalate unresolved alerts and issues to L2 Field Engineers.
- Provide remote, onsite, and field technical support.
- Track configuration items, components, and changes.
- Follow shift handover procedures to maintain service continuity.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
- Associate-level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, or ACMA.
- Entry-level experience in networking technologies, client technical support, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remote support.
