Provide L1 and L1.5 support for an international IP services client.
The role focuses on network operations and problem management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Any graduation degree.
- One to three years of experience.
- Expertise in networking and good knowledge of network fundamentals.
- Strong TCP/IP routing and switching fundamentals.
- Experience troubleshooting MPLS, DIA, voice, and wireless services.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Netcool, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy.
- Knowledge of structured root-cause analysis methodology.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer issues through ServiceNow, including ticket creation, triage, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Provide customer updates and communicate resolutions and Reasons for Outage.
- Coordinate with L2 and L3 teams, NOCs, field technicians, and third-party suppliers.
- Analyze alarms, logs, and performance metrics.
- Restore services within SLA requirements.
- Create root-cause analyses and preventive recommendations.
- Collaborate with OTA to fix design and configuration gaps.
- Support major incident management.
