This is an operational engineering role within fiber services focused on planning, designing, and documenting fiber assets in GIS tools.

The role supports system and service engineering, customer delivery, network upgrades, and quality outcomes.

Support fiber planning and design.
Update GIS systems with as-built documents.
Coordinate with onshore field engineers and suppliers to complete assigned work on time.
Maintain service-level and first-time-right performance targets.
Maintain secure and accurate internal and customer data.
Participate in customer and internal meetings and handle customer KPIs.
Prepare customer reports, schedule customer calls, and present slides.
Support new builds, customer connections, network upgrades, diversionary works, and customized solutions.
Drive improvements in cost, timescales, and quality.
Produce HLD, LLD, and as-built design documentation and update inventory management systems.

Knowledge of telecom network architecture and optical fiber networks.
Detailed knowledge of GIS and tools such as AutoCAD and Smallworld.
Knowledge of fiber planning, design, as-built documentation, quantity surveying, and supplier management.
