Role overview
Tata Communications provides cloud, mobility, IoT, collaboration, security, media, and network services.
The role leads captive cybersecurity operations and supports security infrastructure across multiple sites.
Required qualifications
- Engineering graduate or MCA; the description also lists B.E., B.Tech., or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- More than 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity systems and operations.
- Experience with multi-site disaster recovery, high availability, audits, vulnerability assessments, security frameworks, and OEM or stakeholder communication.
- At least one of CISSP, CEH, CCSP, CCNP Routing and Switching/Security, or an equivalent certification.
Technical environment
- The role covers firewalls, load balancers, WAF, API security, switches, forward proxy, HCI servers, VPN, PAM, ticketing, and monitoring tools.
- Additional systems include NGFW, SSLO, SLB, LLB, SSL offloading, virtualization, and disaster recovery replication.
Primary responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, configurations, system tuning, escalated incident analysis, and policy changes across security platforms.
