Responsibilities
- Manage database administration for MS SQL Server and Oracle databases in production and DR sites
- Implement backup and recovery strategies
- Monitor log shipping and log sync between production and standby databases
- Perform database refresh using RMAN backup
- Manage ASM and Real Application Cluster databases
- Troubleshoot performance issues using ASH and AWR
- Configure database scripts on Red Hat Linux for daily reports
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT industry as a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator
- Hands on installation and administration of MS SQL Server on Windows platforms
- Experience in backup and recovery strategies
- Knowledge of Windows cluster technology
- Microsoft Certified SQL DBA
- Oracle certified professional
- Knowledge of capacity management, performance monitoring, and system optimization
- Knowledge of troubleshooting Windows Server 2016/2019 with Microsoft cluster technology
- Operational knowledge of database refresh using RMAN backup
- Management of ASM and Real Application Cluster databases

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification with at least 8 years of total experience in similar fields.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the IT industry as a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator with hands on installation and administration of MS SQL Server on Windows platforms.

Job Description

Compensation
- Pay: AED10,000.00 AED12,000.00 per month
