Work Location

• The listed work location is Mumbai, Malad.

Infrastructure Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and manage servers, software, hardware, networks, and infrastructure tools.
• Install, configure, and optimize web servers and database servers.
• Automate services and processes to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Configure and monitor performance measurement and monitoring services.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues and outages.

Security and Operations

• Implement access controls, backups, firewalls, and compliance measures.
• Document infrastructure processes, incidents, technical insights, manuals, and policies.
• Perform monthly Linux patching and security fixes.
• Report on patching, hardening, audit, logging, authentication, and remediation controls.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and prioritize patch remediation.

Technical Scope

• Support developers with infrastructure data, reports, analysis, and recommendations.
• Research architecture improvements based on industry trends.
• Use Linux, Infrastructure as Code, shell scripting, CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Work with web servers, databases, networks, cloud platforms, containers, clusters, and virtualized environments.

Required Experience

• At least 4 years of experience handling Unix or Linux-based infrastructure as a system administrator or DevOps professional.
• Experience administering Debian- and Red Hat-based Linux distributions.
• Experience working in multi-datacenter, hybrid-cloud, multi-server, large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS, cloud computing, containerization, clustering, and virtualization.
• Experience with database servers, LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, and kernel upgrades.
• Strong shell scripting expertise.

Security and Automation Requirements

• Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with security, compliance, backups, encryption, IAM, firewalls, audits, and scheduled network scans.
• Experience installing and optimizing Apache, Nginx, Bind/DNS, Nagios, iptables, LDAP, VPN, Munin, SVN, and Git.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science is required.
• Unix certification is a plus, and Python, Perl, or other scripting language experience is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor technical information for different audiences.
• Strong teamwork skills, self-starting ability, willingness to share insights and ask questions, and ability to report progress.
