Role Overview
The Manager Technology is a hands-on technologist and architect who leads software architecture, coding, testing, deployment, people leadership, and cross-functional technical execution.
The role focuses on Connected TV expansion, programmatic bidding engines, SDK architecture, and AI-driven creative solutions.
Architecture and Product Innovation
- Design scalable, highly available ad-serving architectures handling billions of requests with millisecond latency.
- Lead R&D for CTV video advertising, including ORTB and VAST/VPAID integrations, interactive formats, and SDKs for Roku, Tizen, WebOS, and Android.
- Integrate AI and machine learning to automate creative optimization, predict engagement, and improve targeting.
Hands-on Engineering
- Architect solutions from scratch and write production code for core modules, SDK updates, and critical bug fixes.
- Implement OpenRTB components and VAST parsers in line with global IAB standards.
- Own coding standards, automated testing, delivery pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
- Maintain technical depth across Golang, Python, PHP, JavaScript, React, and AWS or GCP infrastructure.
Data, Collaboration, and Leadership
- Develop real-time bidding algorithms to improve fill rates and yield across web, mobile, and CTV.
- Build generative-AI software for creative asset production and oversee privacy-compliant data pipelines.
- Work with Product, Partnerships, Data, Commercial, Sales, Operations, Design, and Creative teams on technical solutions.
- Mentor and retain engineers, manage technology budgets and cloud costs, and maintain 99.9% system uptime.
Experience and Technical Requirements
- 8–10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Deep AdTech expertise across DSP, SSP, DMP, RTB, OpenRTB, VAST, VPAID, and header bidding.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, Golang, PHP, or Node.js, with live coding capability.
- Experience with CTV, SDK development, OpenRTB debugging, high-scale distributed systems, databases, cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- AI/ML integration experience or strong familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenAI APIs is requested.
- B.Tech, M.Tech, B.E., or M.E. from a premium or reputed engineering institute is preferred.
