Mobile Application Developer (Contract)

Role overview

Development responsibilities

• Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance UI components using Flutter widgets.
• Convert UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable Dart code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON, GraphQL, and third-party services.
• Implement state management using BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, or equivalent frameworks.
• Design mobile architecture using Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar patterns.
• Implement local storage using SQLite, Hive, SharedPreferences, or equivalent technologies.

Quality and delivery

• Optimize application performance, memory usage, startup time, rendering, and network operations.
• Develop unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Work with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Manage releases and deployments to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Collaboration and leadership

• Work with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Stay current with Flutter, Dart, mobile development, and emerging technology trends.

Required technical skills

• 5 to 8 years of professional software or mobile development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of Dart, including OOP, collections, generics, null safety, exceptions, async/await, futures, streams, and isolates.
• Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, lifecycle, navigation, layouts, animations, and responsive UI.
• Experience developing applications for both Android and iOS.
