Role Overview

Design and deliver end-to-end industrial data use cases using the AspenTech Inmation platform.

Support industrial data and analytics solutions from source systems through processing, modelling, visualisation, and downstream consumption.

Data Solutions

  • Build, maintain, and govern industrial time-series data models using Inmation and PI systems.
  • Develop Lua scripts for data processing, transformation, automation, and workflow implementation.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using Data Studio and WebStudio.
  • Develop large-screen visualisations for industrial operations and monitoring.
  • Enable data exposure to downstream applications through Web APIs.

Platform and Integration

  • Act as an AspenTech Inmation subject matter expert and provide technical guidance on platform best practices.
  • Support integration of industrial data from multiple sources into Inmation and PI environments.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, processing, visualisation, and API issues across the solution landscape.
  • Optimise data models, scripts, dashboards, and integrations for performance and scalability.

Governance and Collaboration

  • Establish and maintain standards for data quality, governance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with OT, IT, engineering, operations, and business teams to translate industrial requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Document solution architecture, data flows, configurations, interfaces, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of industrial data and analytics solutions.

Relevant Expertise

  • AspenTech Inmation platform expertise, including industrial data modelling and end-to-end data use cases.
  • Ability to develop Lua scripts for data processing, transformation, automation, and workflow implementation.
  • Experience creating dashboards and visualisations using Data Studio and WebStudio.
  • Experience exposing industrial data through Web APIs and integrating data from multiple sources.
