Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Middle School Science Teacher.

The teacher will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, delivering science lessons tailored to middle school students, and aligning with established curriculums.

Additional duties include adapting teaching strategies to diverse learning needs, fostering student curiosity, and providing support to improve academic understanding and performance.

Collaboration with the team to ensure alignment with Filo’s educational objectives will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong competencies in Science Education, Middle School teaching, and Curriculum Development
  • Expertise in Lesson Planning and creating interactive educational materials
  • Excellent Communication skills to effectively connect with students
  • Experience or certification in teaching middle school-level science is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual teaching tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for mentoring and inspiring students
