Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Computer Science Teaching Assistant.

The Teaching Assistant will support students in understanding Computer Science concepts, assist in programming assignments, review code, and help resolve technical queries.

Responsibilities also include effective communication with students, offering step-by-step explanations, and fostering a positive, interactive learning experience.

The role requires flexibility, as support may be provided to students across various time zones.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science and Computer Science Education
  • Experience in Assistant Teaching or similar educational roles
  • Proficiency in Programming and the ability to debug and explain code
  • Clear and effective Communication skills to convey complex concepts
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with remote teaching tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field (or currently pursuing)
