Role Overview
Universal BIM & CAD Technical Services LLC is hiring an MEP Coordination Draftsman for its Dubai team.
The role focuses on MEP coordination, shop drawings, and construction documentation for UAE projects.
The stated experience level is 3–5 years of UAE experience.
Workplace and Employment
- The position is full-time.
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update coordinated MEP shop drawings.
- Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP services.
- Identify and resolve clashes between MEP, architectural, and structural elements.
- Prepare layouts, sections, details, and coordinated construction drawings.
- Review drawings and incorporate consultant and site comments.
- Coordinate with BIM modelers, engineers, consultants, and site teams.
- Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings based on site conditions.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and UAE requirements.
Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of UAE experience in MEP coordination or drafting.
- Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understand MEP services and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Have experience preparing MEP shop drawings and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of Navisworks or Revit is advantageous.
- Be able to read and understand MEP engineering drawings.
- Have knowledge of UAE construction practices and consultant requirements.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
