Role Overview
Electrical BIM Modeler position with Universal BIM and CAD Technical Services in Dubai, UAE.
The role focuses on hands-on electrical services modeling and BIM coordination for UAE construction projects.
The position is full-time, with three to five years of relevant UAE experience indicated.
Modeling Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Model lighting, power distribution, small power, socket outlets, cable containment, and LV systems.
- Develop earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
- Develop electrical room, generator room, transformer room, and substation layouts.
- Prepare coordinated BIM models, shop drawings, construction documentation, and as-built models.
Coordination Responsibilities
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues before site execution.
- Incorporate consultant comments, coordination changes, and site requirements into BIM models.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, BIM coordinators, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, specifications, consultant requirements, and UAE standards.
- Maintain accurate model information, families, parameters, levels, and drawing outputs.
Candidate Profile
- Three to five years of relevant UAE experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit.
- Good knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination.
- Experience with lighting, power, LV distribution, containment, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, and ELV services.
- Strong understanding of electrical coordination and construction requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices and consultant requirements.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joining is preferred.
