About the Role
Alfanar is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The role involves working alongside senior engineers on industrial mechanical systems, assisting in diagnosing faults, and contributing to reliability projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical faults such as bearing failures, hydraulic leaks, and gearbox issues
- Contribute to reliability and efficiency improvement projects
- Adhere to safety protocols including Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history in CMMS
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 2 years of experience (Fresher)
- Understanding of mechanical principles, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science
- Hands on aptitude and eagerness to work with tools and equipment
- Safety consciousness and commitment to following procedures

Job Purpose
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Key Accountability Areas
- Work alongside senior engineers to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial mechanical systems.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical faults and implementing solutions.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving reliability and efficiency.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, including LOTO.
- Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts in CMMS.
- Actively participate in training sessions on mechanical systems, welding, predictive maintenance, and safety standards.
Role Accountability
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical principles, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Hands on aptitude and eagerness to work with tools and equipment.
- Problem solving skills with a desire to understand root causes of failure.
- Proactive attitude and strong desire to develop new practical skills.
- Genuine commitment to working safely and following procedures.
- Comfort working in different industrial environments and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Academic Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresher 0 2 years of experience.
