- Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records
- Liaise with procurement to ensure timely supplier deliveries
- Work with production planners to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
- Track section level KPIs and prepare status reports
- Identify risks related to material shortages and propose mitigation strategies
- Develop and improve business processes and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 6 to 10 years of work experience
- Experience in material planning and supply chain
- Proficiency in Materials Flow Analysis and Material Requirements Planning (MRP/MRPII)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control expenses

Job Purpose
- To manage material planning activities within the section, ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Coordinates with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, improve planning accuracy, and support cost effective supply chain operations.
Key Accountability Areas
- Material Planning Execution: Implement material planning processes; review material requirements; ensure timely issuance of material requisitions.
- Inventory Monitoring: Monitor stock levels; coordinate with warehouse teams; recommend adjustments to inventory policies.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with procurement; work with production planners; collaborate with sales, logistics, and quality teams.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track KPIs; prepare status reports; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify risks; propose mitigation strategies such as safety stock adjustments.

Academic Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

- Technical / Functional Competencies: Materials Flow Analysis, Material Requirements Planning (MRP/MRPII).
