Position Summary
Design and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems for UAE building-services projects.
Projects include residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and high-rise developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mechanical design drawings and calculations for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Develop concept, schematic, detailed, and authority-submission designs.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Provide technical support during execution and construction stages.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering tools for project development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4–10 years of experience in MEP or building-services consultancy.
- UAE or GCC consultancy experience is preferred.
- Experience with residential towers, villas, commercial buildings, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Knowledge of HAP, Elite, or equivalent HVAC software.
- Knowledge of pipe sizing and hydraulic calculation software.
- Understanding of UAE authority requirements, UAE Civil Defense, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local plumbing codes.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- The position is based in the United Arab Emirates.
