Role Overview
ConsultantHSS is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer for its engineering consultancy team in Dubai.
The role covers design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical engineering systems for multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering design for building and infrastructure-related projects.
- Prepare calculations, specifications, equipment schedules, layouts, and technical reports.
- Design and coordinate HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Review requirements, codes, authority regulations, and client specifications.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Review drawings, technical submittals, equipment selections, and design documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and BIM teams.
- Attend technical meetings and support project managers with design issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design.
- Strong engineering consultancy and multidisciplinary project experience.
- Ability to independently manage mechanical design packages and coordinate teams.
