About the Role
Emirates is seeking a Mechanic - Docking to assist with aircraft maintenance at the Docking station in Dubai. The role involves supporting senior staff with fuel handling, wheel servicing, and component replacements while ensuring safety and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff in aircraft fuel handling, wheels & brakes servicing, nitrogen recharging, engine servicing
- Carry out basic support servicing and/or component replacements of aircraft as instructed by Licensed Engineers
- Inspect all equipment before use to ensure they are fully operational
- Maintain tools, equipment and systems (including Ultramain) in the workplace
- Ensure safety of self and others by taking safety precautions and monitoring the working area
- Work in cleaning aircraft/engine parts in accordance with approved manual specifications
- Assist during push back operation to ensure efficient and safe procedure
- Assist Senior Mechanic/Aircraft Engineer for snag rectification and component change
Requirements
- Vocational/National/Higher National Diploma or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering
- Full awareness of safety procedures
- Preferred experience in engineering environment

Job Purpose
- Mechanic Docking is responsible to assist Aircraft Technicians and Licensed Aircraft Engineers with the maintenance of Emirates and third party aircraft, ensuring compliance with GCAA regulations within Docking station.
In This Role You Will
- Assist senior staff in activities such as aircraft fuel handling, wheels & breaks servicing, nitrogen recharging, engine servicing etc.
- Carry out basic support servicing and/or component replacements of EK and third party aircraft as instructed and supervised by the Licensed Engineers.
- Inspect all equipment before use to ensure that they are fully operational and inform Supervisor on duty of any faults.
- Ensure tools, equipment and systems (including Ultramain) are well maintained in the relevant workplace.
- Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by taking safety precautions at all times.
- Work in cleaning aircraft/engine parts in accordance with approved manual specifications.
- Assist during push back operation to ensure that the push back procedure is carried out efficiently and safely.
- Assist the Senior Mechanic/ Aircraft Engineer for snag rectification and component change, using special tools.
Qualification
- Vocational/ National/ Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organization.
- Preferred experience in engineering environment.
- Full awareness of safety procedures.
