Job Purpose
Assist with preparing and developing material agreement contracts, tendering, execution, and administration.
Ensure contract compliance and corporate controls while supporting material purchasing opportunities at optimal cost.
Material Agreement Accountabilities
- Contribute to material agreement tendering and subsequent contract compliance to meet end-user material availability requirements.
- Support procurement agreement buying, including invitations to tender, evaluations, and contract awards.
- Complete assigned agreements in support of department and corporate objectives, KPIs, quality, and designated timelines.
- Participate in contract administration to ensure supplier delivery, terms, conditions, and scope meet QatarEnergy LNG interests.
Supplier and Process Support
- Coordinate with expediting teams and material vendors, packers, and freight forwarders to support sustained on-time material availability.
- Provide historical material demand, spend, and purchasing trends to identify buying opportunities and optimize cost.
- Analyze processes to identify business improvement opportunities for end users and stakeholders.
- Support peer reviews, internal and external audits, and correction of identified control gaps.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a commercial discipline is required.
- At least five years of direct oil and gas industry experience with purchasing or procurement experience is required.
