Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Master Cutter to join its production team.
Responsibilities
- Take body measurements and prepare master patterns from sketches, samples, or tech packs.
- Grade men's and women's uniform patterns across sizes.
- Prepare markers to reduce fabric waste and control material consumption.
- Perform manual and machine cutting for single pieces and bulk orders.
- Handle cotton, poly-cotton, twill, suiting, and stretch fabrics while accounting for shrinkage.
- Check cut panels, supervise the cutting section, and coordinate with tailoring, embroidery, and finishing teams.
- Maintain cutting tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- Three to five years of Master Cutter experience in a uniform or garment factory.
- Strong pattern making, grading, and marker making skills.
- Experience with bulk cutting for corporate or institutional orders.
- Knowledge of fabric types, shrinkage, and consumption calculation.
