Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect surfaces before tile installation.
- Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other tiles according to project specifications.
- Measure, mark, cut, and fit tiles to required dimensions.
- Apply tile adhesive, cement mortar, grout, and other materials correctly.
- Ensure tile alignment, spacing, leveling, and finishing meet requirements.
- Perform tile repairs, replacements, and finishing work when required.
- Check completed work for quality and proper workmanship.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow site safety regulations and construction standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other site workers to complete tasks on schedule.
Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Tile Mason, Tile Setter, or in a similar position.
- Have good knowledge of tile installation, cutting, grouting, and finishing techniques.
- Understand measurements and basic construction drawings.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Be physically fit and capable of manual work on construction sites.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have good teamwork and communication skills.
- Be willing to work in different site conditions and environments.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 per month.
Workplace
- The position is full time and performed in person in Abu Dhabi.
- The work is performed on construction sites and may involve different site conditions and environments.
