Draftsman

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural, technical, shop, working, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, details, and construction drawings from concepts, sketches, and specifications.
• Review, revise, coordinate, and maintain drawings and technical documents across architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications, UAE regulations, authority requirements, and company standards.
• Verify measurements and site conditions through coordination with site teams and required site visits.
• Prepare submission and approval documents, maintain revision records, and support resolution of drawing-related issues during construction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, drafting, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency is required; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting software is advantageous.
• Applicants should understand architectural drawings, construction details, dimensions, technical documentation, construction methods, materials, and building practices.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, independent working, and revision-management skills are required.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements is preferred; a UAE driving license is advantageous.
• A separate experience field lists three years of architect experience as required.

Work Location

• The role is performed in person and includes construction-site visits when required.
