Overview of the Role

  • The Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team at Dubai Festival City.
  • The position involves coordination and assistance across various marketing facets, including administration, events, communication, social media, and retailer engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate Retail Marketing permissions from suppliers, retailers, and press for branding, photography, and filming.
  • Facilitate and manage government relations and permissions for Retail Marketing promotions, adhering to DED Permits and Regulations.
  • Assist events and promotions team with in person support, quotations, and scheduling during major campaigns.
  • Support Communications Manager in updating DFCM and DFC websites monthly, handling both English and Arabic versions.
  • Contribute to the successful launch of the new DFCM website, ensuring integration with the new look, feel, sitemap, and social media.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly reports on DFCM and DFC websites, including tracking competitors’ malls and Dubai's retail and tourism events.
  • Conduct monthly monitoring of specified Facebook and Twitter sites for research and creative inspiration, reporting findings to GM marketing.
  • Capture and organize existing customer coupons for future email and SMS marketing, working with IT to streamline data capturing processes.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive retailer database for electronic communications, updating regularly with new retailer information.
  • Organize and categorize digital photo library for efficient access in brochures, corporate materials, and press materials.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities to coordinate tasks efficiently.

What Qualifies You For The Role

  • 1 2 years of experience in Marketing, with knowledge in Retail or Social Media.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and various social media, website, and database applications.
  • Strong abilities in planning, organization, and coordination, particularly in marketing related activities.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills for concise and clear dialogue.
