Job Summary
Oversee all on-site marble-related activities, including planning, workforce coordination, material and tool management, and site measurements.
The role requires strong UAE construction and marble industry experience, with marble factory operations experience preferred.
Site Planning and Execution
- Oversee site preparation, daily planning, and workflow execution.
- Coordinate marble installation work according to project schedules.
- Ensure all activities meet safety and quality standards.
Manpower Planning and Supervision
- Allocate work to marble workers and subcontractors.
- Monitor labor productivity and manage workers’ attendance.
- Maintain and regularly update workers’ timesheets.
Material and Tool Management
- Arrange delivery and proper on-site storage of materials and tools.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability.
- Manage tool issuance, maintenance, and return tracking.
Measurement and Coordination
- Collect accurate site measurements for production and installation.
- Coordinate with draftsmen, project managers, and the factory.
- Communicate site requirements and updates clearly.
Samples and Materials
- Collect and deliver marble samples.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding material selection and approvals.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE marble industry.
- Previous marble or factory operations experience is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of marble installation techniques and tools.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate site measurements.
- A UAE driving license is mandatory.
