Manufacturing Intern

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree is required in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, production, or engineering concepts is required.
• Candidates should be able to work with data, identify basic trends, prepare reports and trackers, and follow up on open actions under supervision.
• Candidates should be able to understand basic technical drawings, bills of material, work instructions, quality documents, procurement documents, safety documents, or planning reports.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and comfort learning digital tools, reporting tools, and ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA are required.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are required for cross-functional coordination.
• Attention to detail, curiosity to learn, and accurate adherence to instructions and safety guidance are required.
• The role involves an office environment and may require supervised visits to shop floor or manufacturing areas.

Technical Competencies

• Relevant skills include Microsoft Excel, basic data analysis, reporting, and tracker maintenance.
• Relevant knowledge includes manufacturing, material planning, production planning, procurement, quality, inventory, and operational workflows.
• The intern may learn SAP S/4HANA transactions, reports, master data review, procurement follow-up, quality records, and related business-system activities.
• Technical drawing, bill of material, procedure, quality, and safety document awareness may be applicable to the assigned department.
• Structured documentation, SOPs, work instructions, follow-up discipline, and technical or operational reporting are relevant capabilities.
