Manufacturing Intern

Qualifications and Required Skills

• A bachelor’s degree is required in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, planning, production, or engineering concepts is required.
• The candidate must be able to work with data, identify basic trends, prepare reports and trackers, and follow up on open actions under supervision.
• The candidate should understand basic technical drawings, bills of material, work instructions, quality documents, procurement documents, safety documents, or planning reports as applicable.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and comfort learning digital tools, reporting tools, and ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA are required.
• Good written and verbal English communication, attention to detail, curiosity to learn, and accurate adherence to instructions are required.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in an office and visiting manufacturing areas under supervision when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic project or internship exposure in manufacturing, supply chain, planning, procurement, production, quality, engineering support, or process improvement is advantageous.
• Awareness of ERP systems, Power BI, Microsoft Project, quality notification management, supplier follow-up, procedural updates, or new product development support is advantageous.
• Interest in a career in manufacturing operations, planning, engineering, procurement, quality, supply chain, or related functions is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving methods is advantageous.
