Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for owning the stability, capability and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment, leading technical problem solving on the shop floor, and supporting new product introduction and change control — all while gaining exposure across our full manufacturing operation. This role is based on site in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Rotating across our printer cell, print head cell and fluids plant to build broad, hands-on knowledge of the full Linx manufacturing business.

Responding in real time to production issues — prioritizing keeping the lines running, then digging into root cause and countermeasures.

Owning and maintaining process documentation, including work instructions, control plans, PFMEA and standard work.

Identifying and implementing tangible improvements to cycle time, throughput, ergonomics and cost — not just spotting opportunities, but seeing them through to completion.
