- Manage all VAT obligations: registration, periodic filings, reconciliations, and payment to ZATCA on time
- Handle Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations and filings for all applicable payments to non residents
- Monitor changes in Saudi tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on EWCF operations
- Act as the primary contact for ZATCA audits, inquiries, and correspondence
- Manage e invoicing compliance (FATOORAH Phase 2) and ensure systems are aligned with ZATCA requirements
- Support the Accounting Manager in day to day accounting operations from a compliance and controls perspective
- Prepare and review financial reports, tax schedules, reconciliations, and statutory submissions
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, approval matrices, and delegations of authority
- Drive continuous improvement of finance and tax processes and ERP/reporting systems
Requirements
- 6 8 years experience in tax and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws and regulations
- Experience with VAT registration, filings, and reconciliations
- Experience with Withholding Tax calculations and filings
- Familiarity with e invoicing compliance (FATOORAH Phase 2)
- Experience in financial reporting and internal controls
- Ability to coordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel

Tax Compliance
- Manage all VAT obligations: registration, periodic filings, reconciliations, and payment to ZATCA on time

Financial Operations & Accounting Support
- Support the Accounting Manager in day to day accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, accruals) from a compliance and controls perspective
- Review accounting entries and postings to ensure tax treatment is correctly applied (e.g., VAT, WHT)
- Support month end and year end closing activities, ensuring tax related accruals and provisions are accurately captured
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of transactions and flag compliance risks to the Accounting Manager and Director Finance
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager, Treasury, FP&A, and Procurement to ensure data consistency and tax integrity
Financial Reporting & Internal Controls
- Prepare and review financial reports, tax schedules, reconciliations, and statutory submissions
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, approval matrices, and delegations of authority
- Identify and remediate control gaps related to both finance operations and tax exposure
- Support preparation of management reporting and board level financial summaries
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with all local regulatory requirements including ZATCA, Ministry of Finance, and SAMA guidelines as applicable
- Maintain up to date finance and tax documentation, procedures, and audit trails
- Proactively identify tax risks and escalate material issues to the Director Finance
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel on complex tax matters and disputes
Process Excellence & Team Support
- Drive continuous improvement of finance and tax processes and ERP / reporting systems
- Support and guide junior finance team members in daily operations and tax compliance tasks
- Act as a finance and tax point of contact for operational stakeholders across business units
- Escalate risks, issues, or deviations to the Director Finance promptly
