  • Handle Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations and filings for all applicable payments to non-residents
  • Monitor changes in Saudi tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on EWCF operations
  • Act as the primary contact for ZATCA audits, inquiries, and correspondence
  • Manage e-invoicing compliance (FATOORAH Phase 2) and ensure systems are aligned with ZATCA requirements

Financial Operations & Accounting Support

  • Support the Accounting Manager in day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, accruals) from a compliance and controls perspective
  • Review accounting entries and postings to ensure tax treatment is correctly applied (e.g., VAT, WHT)
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring tax-related accruals and provisions are accurately captured
  • Provide guidance on the tax implications of transactions and flag compliance risks to the Accounting Manager and Director Finance
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager, Treasury, FP&A, and Procurement to ensure data consistency and tax integrity

Financial Reporting & Internal Controls

  • Prepare and review financial reports, tax schedules, reconciliations, and statutory submissions
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls, approval matrices, and delegations of authority
  • Identify and remediate control gaps related to both finance operations and tax exposure
  • Support preparation of management reporting and board-level financial summaries

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with all local regulatory requirements including ZATCA, Ministry of Finance, and SAMA guidelines as applicable
  • Maintain up-to-date finance and tax documentation, procedures, and audit trails
  • Proactively identify tax risks and escalate material issues to the Director Finance
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and legal counsel on complex tax matters and disputes

Process Excellence & Team Support

  • Drive continuous improvement of finance and tax processes and ERP / reporting systems
  • Support and guide junior finance team members in daily operations and tax compliance tasks
  • Act as a finance and tax point of contact for operational stakeholders across business units
  • Escalate risks, issues, or deviations to the Director Finance promptly

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, and/or tax.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Saudi tax experience (VAT, WHT).
  • Prior experience dealing directly with ZATCA.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Saudi tax regulations (VAT, WHT, e-Invoicing / FATOORAH)
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Practical experience with ERP / financial systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent)

  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Analytical ability to assess tax risk and articulate implications clearly to management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across business teams
  • Fluency in English & Arabic required (bilingual proficiency essential for ZATCA correspondence)
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) strongly preferred
  • Tax-specific certification (e.g., ZATCA Accredited Tax Agent, CTA) is a significant advantage

  • Housing allowance
  • VIP medical insurance
  • Opportunity to work on a new exciting project with a group of passionate professionals. You will get the freedom to excel and make a real impact
  • Diversity disclaimer
  • Our mission is to build a diverse organization where our members, regardless of background or identity, have a sense of belonging.
